370: 370: How I Started and Sold Storage Squad in College Which Lead to My R.E. Journey

This is the story of how I started a simple pick up and student storage moving business with my friend and now longtime business partner Dan Hagberg in college. This was never our plan but the opportunity presented itself and we decided to go all in.

Through a lot of grit and hard work, we ended up building the company to multiple 7 figures in revenue and eventually exited in 2020. This business taught me almost everything I know about how to operate, hire, manage, delegate, and succeed. It later led me to real-estate and self-storage which changed my life and career.

About Me

I started the Sweaty Startup in December of 2018 because I believe the Shark Tank and Tech Crunch culture is ruining the real spirit of low-risk entrepreneurship.
